I just wanted to drop you an email to say thank you to yourself, Nathan and all the team at 1885.

You were all absolutely brilliant, we couldn't of asked for better service. The food was incredible, nothing was too much for anyone and you are all such lovely people.

We are so grateful to have been able to use 1885 as our choice of wedding venue. It was just perfect and everything we could've wished for.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for our wedding day on Sunday! Everything was just right and perfect for us. We had loads of lovely comments on the venue and the overall atmosphere/vibe. One of our guests even took a wedding brochure to pass on to a friend! Another person said "I've never been to a wedding that was so well suited to the bride and groom.

The way the room was transformed for the meal was amazing and the tables for the meal were so beautifully presented, again lots of lovely comments on this. I remember seeing the ceremony table decor placed elsewhere in the room after the ceremony and thinking "they've thought of everything!" The glass of prosecco ready for us after the ceremony was a lovely touch.

Breakfast was amazing as well - those sausage and bacon butties on the wedding day were delicious and exactly what we needed to fuel our day!!

The flexibility with timings to prep the room the day before and collect everything the day after made the whole experience really easy and stress free.

Everything was really relaxed and easy on the day with no stress and this definitely came across to our guests as they all commented on how relaxed and chilled the day was which is exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. Victoria had everything under control and the whole experience was amazing.
